JoAnn Mears & Bruno Serato - Owner of the Anaheim White House & Caterina's Club,
Also a nominee for CNN Hero of the Year
JoAnn Mears works with many charities and hopes to be an advocate to bring awareness to the invisible illness, Chronic Pain.
In the works is her autobiographical novel,
"That Doesn't Hurt" which embarks on her personal journey with Chronic Pain since 2009. JoAnn's hit single "The Goddess in Me" was created to raise money for St. Jude Medical, the creators of JoAnn's neuro-stimulator that was implanted on her spinal cord in 2012. JoAnn owes her lesser-pain life to this amazing technology and hopes more attention will be given to Chronic Pain survivors everywhere. As well as, helping to destroy the stereotypes against the Pain "thrivers" through education as people need to understand that nerve damage cannot be healed. "Yes, some wounds never actually heal."
Also in Post-production, is the Music Video for "Mansion in my Mind" for Caterina's Club in conjunction with the famous restaurant the Anaheim White House in California to help feed children who live in motels and help struggling families get back on their feet.
Restaurant owner Bruno Serato was touched by JoAnn's song and was thrilled to have her support to raise awareness for this great cause.
